DETAILS: While thumbing through a Wayfair furniture catalog, my wife found a style of cabinet she really liked. It was called the Zola cabinet in the catalog.

It was really nice and very similar to this one. There were however a few things about it that didn’t work for us. First, the catalog version was 36” wide and our space is 40”. I don’t like putting spacers for that much space. Second, the drawers were on the right and if you look at these photos, you’ll see the plumbing goes out the right wall. had the drawers on the right. Yep, it was time to hit the drawing board.

While planning everything out, I realized that the drawer below the sink is not a common design and prevented me from using a typical P-Trap so I had to go with a bottle design. I had the frosted glass doors made at my local glass shop and the countertop with built in sink was ordered from Tubs & More, a local designer bathroom supply house.

P.S. The 2 floral photos from our 30th anniversary in Hawaii on the wall were framed using the same piece of Mahogany.
