DETAILS: My son recently moved into a new construction home and asked me to build him a custom Media console that matched his kitchen cabinetry. The final product had white stile and rail cabinet doors with black handles and a 10 foot long teak top. The teak was a bit richer in color than they had hoped, so we muted the tone with a few coats of whitewash before sealing it with MasterClear Supreme, a non-yellowing water-based protective clear coat. The unit was built in 5 sections to allow for easier transport; the 10 foot by 17 inch solid teak top, the left and right cabinets, center shelving, and front baseboard.
