Many many years ago, my wife and I fell in love with this simple coffee table in Scan Design and had to have it. It was very expensive as all Scan Design furniture is, but that didn’t stop us from the purchase. It’s simply a thick white, rectangular table top with 2 tempered glass legs set perpendicular to on another. They were practically invisible, so the tabletop seemed to be hovering in the air, hence the name Blair Illusionist.

A few friends of ours loved it too. When they went to buy one, they found it wasn’t available anywhere. I recreated it for them using White Wilsonart product called Solidcor. It’s a laminate product with no brown center. I used 1/2” thick acrylic legs instead of glass and you couldn’t tell the difference between the two.

In fact, I like theirs better than mine.
